  1. Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed senior bureaucrat Neelam Kapoor as Director General (DG) of the Sports Authority of India. At present, she is Principal Director General of the Directorate of Field Publicity. ACC was headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  2. Fm Minister Arun Jaitley Presented the Union Budget for 2018-19 (FY19). Main Highlights are Agriculture, Health, Education & Infrastructure
  3. Dinesh Srivastava took over as Chief Executive of Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC). He succeeded G Kalyanakrishnan. Srivastava will also be Chairman of NFC board.
